Waterloo Regional Police report the following break and enters for the week April 20â€"26: Spring‘s spectacular colors will be in fine form this week as Uptown Waterioo BIA stages its Butterfly Days Celebration. Enhancing the theme will be the display at Waterloo Town Square of the John G. Powers Coliection of Flying Jewels, including hundreds of eyeâ€"catching butterflies and moths from a private collection of over 8,000 specimens. As part of the Butterfly Days celebration, a coloring contest was sponsored by the businesses in Uptown. Prizes were awarded to winners in each of three age categories. Winners were Cory Pagett of Moore Ave. in Kitchener in 6â€"8, Bryan Martin of Willow St. in 9â€"11 and Carlos Schanzenbach of Strasburg Rd. in 12â€"15. An extra category was also created to honor Gloria Lehim‘s entry in the 4â€"5 year old class. The collection, which has taken Powers 25 years to amass, will be at the Square from Thursday through Saturday.
