Presiâ€" dent and Chief Executive Officer Jack V. Masterman made the ceremonial first withâ€" drawal. The new service is being introduced followâ€" ing a study of employee banking habits. The study showed that almost 80 percent of staff currently use a banking machine for cash withdrawals, citing convenience, accessibiliâ€" ty, flexibility and fast service as the benefits the machies provide. Eightyâ€"three percent of respondents said they would use an automated banking machine at head office if one was proâ€" vided. The ABM is being installed by Canada Trust, a member of INTERAC network which allows 95 percent of all ABM cardholders access to their accounts. It will only be available for use by Mutual Life employees.
