Now the king has decreed his son marry the most beautiful girl in the kingdom. Hearing this, the two ugly sisters awaken their father Don Magnifico, a baron who dreams of great wealtlrand fortune. The set clears, as Prince Ra- miro arrives, dressed as a valet. Alidoro has eagerly told him he would find his bride in this house. The Prince switches roles with servant Dandini to find out for himself. When Ramiro sees Cin- derella, it's love at first sight.
