Well, Waterloo Junior boys volleyball Vikings are singing the praises of that second chance this week as they rebounded Volleyball Vikings gain revenge on Rebels taking CWOSSA junior crown Lt .9 v Andy Krucker Shirley Meaning Andy Krucker is being honoured as UW Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. Andy, a native of Burlington, in his fourth year at the University of Watelioo is studying Mechanical Engineering. -- - Andy is being recognized for his outstanding performance at the ClAU cross-country championship last weekend in London. Andy, running in his last cross-country race of his university career ran exceptionally well placing fifth leading the team to a fourth place finish. This placing meant that Andy was given All Canadian status. No other cross country Warrior has received this honor. Shirley Meaning is a third year Co-op Science student from Burlington where she attended Lord Elgin High School. Shirley is one of the key power hitters on the Athena team. At S'T" it is uncommon to be a power hitter, but she has the highest vertical on the team. One of Shirley's unique abilities is being able to go over a block with a spike. She is also one of the most consistent servers on the team. Shirley led.the team to victories over Western (16-14, 17-15, 12-15, IF-T) and Guelph University (15-10, 15-6, 15-8) in league play.
