Mior was instrumental in leadâ€" ing the Condors to 2 wins against only 1 lost in the Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA) West Division Touch Football Tournament held at Lambton College on Oct. 5. Mior threw one touchdown pass, scored two touchdowns, kicked a single point and had 4 interceptions on defense. Guilio Mior, a halfback/safety, was Condor‘s outstanding tourâ€" nament player scoring 2 touchâ€" downs, kicking a single point and Saints strong defensively Strong defensive play highlighted two games played by Waterloo minor atom ‘AA‘ Saints as they edged Stratford 3â€"2 on Saturday before losing 2â€"1 to a Brampton ‘AAA‘ team the following day. Defencemen Paul Bucking, Jason Dupuis and Cory Mayhew limited Stratford‘s play in the Waterloo end as Troy Stuebing, Mike Kraemer and Daniel Sullivan provided the scoring. Kraemer and Sullivan also earned assists, as did Keith George and Liem Vonâ€" guyen. _ Sullivan scored against Brampton with help from Kent Breen and Dupuis. Oakville led 4â€"0 before Matt Kreutzer scored with 3:06 remaining in the game to break the shutout. Gregg Netchay earned an assist on the goal. In the Humber game, the Condors took a 3â€"2 lead after one inning, upped the margin to 8â€"2 as they scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning. Sue Blacklock picked up her 3rd win of the season as she gave up only 1 hit through the 5 innings she pitched. She also helped herself at the plate with 3 hits, including 2 triples, and she drove in 3 runs. Susan Covenay also had a double and a triple and drove in 3 runs.
