Why, we even have to rinse off ice cubes! I always enjoy reading Rick Campbell‘s weekly column, but last week‘s held a special interest. I, too, felt that I was the only one who questioned the taste and cleanliness of our water. For several years we have been bombarded with facts and statistics as to why we should get aerobic exercise at least three times a week. As a matter of fact, I bring water back home from Sarnia in bottles after a visit there. Don‘t think it‘s just a personal preferâ€" ence, as I drank Lake Erie water for the past three years and it is better than the water here, too. However, I‘m slowly getting used to the taste and will just keep water. Sarnia gets its water upstream of the famed "blob" in the St. Clair river and miles upstream of Dow Chemical (and all the other chemical plants). They get their rinsing my cubes. We‘re truly a community newspaper On behalf of the entire Bluevale school community I would like to express my appreciation to your newspaper for the exceptional coverage it gives to the education system in Waterioo County.
