Even though most activities are campâ€"oriented, the children do have an opportunity to stay for a weekend with a family from the host country as well as doing some travelling in the country. Since early March, the two local youths along with the other delegates have been working hard preparing for their upcoming villages. They have gathered information about Canada to better prepare themselves as they venture forth as ambassadors of our country. Over one hundred eager children participated in the selection process this year.
