The awards went to Ron Eagle for best supporting actor and to the company for best visual presentation. | This year‘s festival was held May 26â€"31 with 12 groups competing. The Players were nominated in two other categories this year â€" Wrixon for best director and Elizabeth Shannon for best supporting acâ€" tress. ‘"These awards mean a lot to the group," said Wrixon. "It‘s a good feeling to win."‘ Wrixon believes in doing her shows by the book, the way the author wrote the play with changes only where necessary. "A good script shouldn‘t have to be tampered with," said Wrixon.
