Lutheran Educator Morris A. Anderson of Regina, Sask. has been chairman of the Board of Directors of Lutheran Life Insurâ€" ance Society of Canada. Dr. Anderson, 55, is president of Luther College in Regina. A member 6f Lutheran Life‘s electâ€" ed board since 1983, he succeeds fellow educator Dr. Ronald E. George, a computer science proâ€" fessor at Alberta‘s University of Calgary, in the chairman‘s post (Dr. George was chairman for three years, the maximum term permissible). A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan, Anderson joined the Luther College faculty as an English teacher in 1955. He became viceâ€"principal in 1963 and president in 1964. He retires as the college‘s head this June, but will return to teach partâ€"time after a oneâ€"year sabbatical.
