At Centennial public school, however, each January they offer something a little different. Participants are: tested and an average of 80 per cent must be athieved for a student to be a "certified" babysitter. "I could offer this program twice a year and it would always be filled," said Hornung. "I‘ve had mothers who have refused to allow their children to babysit until they‘ve taken the course. There are so many things that could happen when a child is babysitting, and they must be prepared."
