After losing their first game to Etobieoke by a 6-3 score, they advanced by beating Kiteh- ener 10-1, London 7-3, Cambridge 10-4 and Mariposa 16-2. Petites lost 6-2 to Cambridge, 7-0 to Kitchener, 8-4 to London, 6-2 t9 Sudbury and 11-5 to Glou- cester. The tweens lost 6-2 and 6-3 to Sudbury but entered the cross- overs on the strength of wins of 8-5 over Cambridge and 2-1 over London. They were eliminated from further play when Kitchen- er beat them 4-2. The juniors won 7-2 over Etobi- coke and 6-3 over Sudbury before losing 7-5 to London. They won 10-2 over Scarborough and then lost bl to Kitchener to be elimin- ated from further play. In CORL play ui, Waterloo junior Tigerettes travelled to Etobicoke on Sunday and were defeated 4-3. Heritage ski loppet The ninth annual Heritage cross-country ski loppet will take place Sunday, Jan. 19, starting and finishing at the K-W Optimist Camp near Heidelberg. There will be trails of10, 20 and 30 kilometres as well as a children's mini loppet. The entry deadline is Jan. 10. He was cited for his leadership and excellent all-around play. April Brenda Goudy of Toronto and Todd Sheridan of Waterloo were named Athletes of the Year at Conestoga. Goudy played varsity softball and tennis, winning the OCAA western division singles title. Sheridan captained the var- sity hockey team.
