Bees rally to earn tie PAGE 34 â€" WATERLOO CHRONICLE ‘With the goalie removed, Waterloo Knotty Pine Bees swarmed back with a minute left to score two goals and earn a 5â€"5 tie in Brantford. The Bees saw an early two goal lead disappear with four unanswered goals by Brantford, but a strong third period by the Bees was the difference. Jeremy Chappell scored the tying plus two other goals for the teams‘ first hat trick while Brad Curtain, Dennis Zaborski, and Jeff Schmidt helped in the Chappell scoring. Scott Yanke and David Bean each scored with assists from Chad Ricketts and Darren Michlick. Waterloo‘s major peewee ‘A‘ team lost 4â€"2 to Brantford and tied 4â€"4 with Guelph. Shane Seabrook and Mike Kreutzer scored against Brantford as Billy Evans, Mike Godwin and Tyler Richber earned asâ€" sists. The lone victory came against Woodstock with a 6â€"1 score. All Whalers goals were scored in the first two periods with Ryan Stewart, Shawn Dietrich, and Kent Breen each providing a goal through their fine play. Ryan Stover lead his team with a hatâ€" trick.
