PAGE 4 â€" WATERLOO CHRONICLE, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 1985 City council decides on road closure A section of Bearinger Road between Parkside Drive and Quiet Place was closed permanently by Waterloo City Council Monday night. The closure is a result of a high number of accidents between cars, pedestrians and cyclists. The road is in the centre of a large number of town houses and was considered too narrow for the amount of traffic it handled. The section will remain open until a new road is built joining Hazel Street to Parkside Drive across the south side of Quiet Place.
