Only 50 more entries will be. accepted for the first annual Twin City Big Brothers Triathlon Sunday, July 28 at the Laurel Creek Conservaâ€" tion Area and surrounding area. Competitars will be limited to 300 and promotions chairman Jan Ciuciura urges those still wishing to register to do so at Athlete‘s Foot locations in Kitchener or Waterloo rather than by mail. Prizes will be awarded to the first three finishers in each of eight race categories. All competitors will also be eligible for a Miele triathlon bicycle to be given away in a draw at the awards ceremony following the race. The race opens with a 1,000 metre swim at 9 a.m. to be followed by a 40â€"kilometre bicycle race to Crosshill and back. The symposium is open free of charge to all competitors and for others there is an admission charge of $5.
