Unable to cope with the strong defence of the visiting York Yeomen, Warriors lost 74â€"62 to give Yeomen the Ontario Universities Athletic Association championship. The bottom fell out on Warriors in the first half after they took a 21â€"16 lead. Yeomen, paced by Mark Jones, scored 13 unanswered points with Jones making nine of his total 24. Warriors‘ 7 centre Randy Norris was shut down completely in the first half and made all of his 12 points after intermission.
