Dominion Life has participated in a stamp saving program for the past 12 years. Later he began sending the cancelled stamps to Save the Children Fund. Although Jack Henderson died in 1983, Dominâ€" ion Life had decided to carry on his work. We encourage them to save stamps and encourage, them to send stamps to us," Malleck said. Recently Dominion Life centralized their premium collection system so that policyholders send their payments directly to head office in Waterioo. All the stamps are kept from these envelopes and according to Malleck, there is a lot of letters. We have sent many, many thousands of stamps to Save the Children and have received letters of thanks from them." According to Malleck, once the stamps are sent to Save the Children they are sorted and then sold to stamp collectors, even though there aren‘t many unusual stamps. The money helps with the Canadian Save the Children program. "It‘s worked out really well. It‘s an easy way to do something good.
