She was unseeded going into the tourney but won three matches and lost just one. This past weekend, Piercy completed her fifth year of eligibility as a Nordic skier as a member of UW‘s winning 3x5km team. She was also fifth in the 10K race as Athenas won their fifth straight OWIAA title. UW Athietes Jocelyn Piercy Skiers Jocelyn Piercy and David Roth are University of Waterioo‘s athletes of the week. Roth is a repeat winner. At the OUAA finals last week in Collingwood, he finished first in slalom on Thursday, then won the giant slalom on Friday to lead Warriors to a second place finish.
