Warriors faced a tough challenge in stopping University of Windsor Lancers 89-86 in a televised game on "Banner Day" at UW's Physical Activities Complex. Last Wednesday, Warriors had beaten their Crosstown rival Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks 9t-64' at WLU. Warriors, who allowed them, selves to be beaten 35-30 in rebounds on Saturday, were there to be had and Lancers nearly took them. Only the fine play of Rob Froese and a 32 point effort from Peter Savich saved Warriors from beconr ing victims of an upset.
