Work has already begun as each area within the Y reviews its needs for future growth. "We already have definite and defined needs that we will meet and there are many other areas to be considered as we expand our facilities,‘‘ Rumpel said. ‘‘*Programs for women, children and families are high priorities and we want to make sure our future plans can accommodate those needs." Of the YW, Duncan said: "It‘s a real privilege to come into an organization that‘s not only sound in its current functioning but also forward thinking enough to face the challenges of the future with enthusiasm. Working with people who are able to look ahead to the ideal and are skilled in taking the right planning steps to get there is a combination that will ensure the success of the YWCA.
