The grants include: e $25,000 to Profs. Robert Farâ€" volden, Robert Gillham and Emil Frind, of UW‘s institute for groundwater research, for studies into pollution problems from leaâ€" chates in sanitary landfill operaâ€" e $22,500 to Profs.
