Reg Smith, who took over from Jay Cressâ€" man in the sixth inning, was the winning pitchâ€" er. Led by Barry Musâ€" selman‘s solo homer and single, CHYM‘rs had nine hits off losing pitcher Tom Chessel. Lloyd Betcher manâ€" aged three singles. In the night game, pitcher Bill Miller took the loss after coming on in relief of Lorne Daer in the fifth inâ€" ‘‘The game with Cambridge is the worst we‘ve played,"" Thompâ€" son said in reference to five CHYM‘r errors. ‘‘The errors tend to take the steam out of the pitcher."‘ Brian Schott had three hits for Waterloo and Musselman added a pair.
