Vikings are in their second year of playing Waterloo County high school soccer in a league that began last season on an unofficial basis and continued this season on the same status. The team from WCI is undefeated at this point in the season, having won the Central Western Ontario title in Guelph Thursday by winning all four times they played. Throughout the season, Vikings have given up just one point and that was when they tied with Bluevale "It was a marathon," coach Jim Millar said of the tournament. â€" Vikings opened with a 4â€"0 win over Guelph J.F. Ross, then beat the same team 1â€"0 to take the champiâ€" onship.
