Many students with stars in their eyes are testing the waters of the theatre life by involving themselves in St. Jerome‘s and St. Mary‘s high schools‘ production of the Broadway musical West Side Story, to be presented at the new St. Mary‘s gym March 14â€"24 (no Sunday performance) with a benefit March 13. This lavish, $30,000 production is presented on the 15th anniversary of the first St. J/M coâ€"production. That coincidenâ€" tally was also the Broadway musical West Side Story that helped springboard baritone singer Paul Massel to a career with the Canadian Opera Company. ;N;terloo resident Mr. Richard Costello supervises set construction for the St. production of West Side story opening next week. un an an an 300 individuals involved hall scene.
