Pair Waterloo companies capture employer awards Pat Arbuckle Chronicle Staff Two Waterloo companies were honored last week for their efforts in hiring disabled people at the third annual Employer of the Year awards. At the award ceremony. held last week at the Waterloo Inn. Beaver Foods Ltd., 389 King St. N. was runner-up in the category for com- panies employing more than 50 workers, while Canada Posture and Seating Centre. 368 Philip St., won a similar award for companies with fewer than 50 employees. Major award-winners this year were Conestoga College and Warren Greenhouses in Kitchener. Also honored were Northwind Stoneware and WM Roberts Electrical and Mechanical Ltd., both of Kitchener.
