Hayes leadership during the past eight years was instrumental in giving the organization a new image in the com munity . 1{ t y T‘ es + w y ++ Er Hayes is survived by his parents, Grace and Henry Hayes of Markdale: his three sons Michael and Geoffrey of Waterloo, and James of Kitchener. and his daughter Patricia, also of Waterloo. He was a life member of the Kâ€"W Optimist Club, serving as president in 1960, and an alumnus of Waterloo College (now Wilfrid Laurier University) where he graduated in 1950 with a business degree.
