For as long as it lasted, things went vefy well for the host teams of the first annu- al Bluevale relays. The Region of Waterloo Swim Club's Invita- tional Meet takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Wilfrid Laurier University pool. The ROW club will be hosting and billeting swimmers from Quebec and Nova Scotia in this "A" meet. All ROW swimmers. including Mike West and Victor Davis, will be competing. ROW also announces that Sandra Honour. one of Canada's premier distance freestyiers and the Canadian champion for 1982, has decided to Join ROW to train under the guidance of coach Cliff Barry. Waterloo CHYM‘rs shortstop Brian Schott appears to have forgotten something as he tries to tag Lou Nistico of the Burlington Cougars at second base, but actually the ball looped away as he was unable to handle a throw from home plate on the stealing attempt. Honour will begin with ROW on Saturday to prepare for important meets this summer as well as the 1984 Olympics. She also intends to study at the University of Waterloo this fall.
