Running for Bluevale collegiate in the five kilometer race for secondary school teams, Cipp found himself in the lead but not alone with about 300 meters remaining. Cipp hung on to win the race, but the Bluevale team finished third behind the combined efforts of firstâ€"place Waterloo collegiate and a team made up of students from St. Jerome‘s and St. Mary‘s. Clive Hamilton was an easy winner in the 10K event with a time of 31: 36. 51 seconds ahead of Lioyd Schmidt. Lisa Campfens was first among women at 40: 05 and Celia Mcelnnis was second at 40; 47. Rich Knill. Ganesh Kannappan, Cathy Bauer, Angie and Leanne Pinder were all on the winning WCI team.
