Formed March 12, 1924 by Mrs. O. Storey, then president of the Hamilton Diocese and with the help of Lucia and Antoinette Bauer of Waterloo, the league has grown to more than 300 members and is described as ‘""the backbone of the church by Mary Smith, reâ€" sponsible for communiâ€" cations and public relaâ€" tions for the league.
