l DEAF l STUDENTS STAR m OLIVER Last weekend was quite a memorable one for these Waterloo area deaf students who took part in a unique Produc- tion of the musical Oliver at Ernest C. Drury school in Milton. Chris- tine Ehrlich (front) starred as Fagin, while fterft to right) Tony Osier was one of Fagin's boys, Bradley Reist was cast as Mr. Sowertterry, and David Christie played Mr. Bumble. The production was the first. of its kind in Canada, in which characters were double cast, with a deaf student on stage using sign language, while a hearing student acted out a speaking role.
