Dancethon planned Highland dancers of the Waterloo â€" Region will present a Danceth on on Wednesday, April 21. About 40 dancers wili test their endurance from 7 toâ€"8: 30 p.m. at St. Andrew‘s Presby terian Church, Queen and Weber Sts.. Kitch ener. Half of the dancers are students of Debbie Bartlett. Waterloo Highland dancing teacher. Students of Jenny McLaughlin of Cambrid,:e will be the other participants. Dancers of all ages and leveis of experi ence will attempt to dance for an hour. The Waterloo youngster was all set to meet actor John McCafterty, who plays Billy Joe Wright on NBC‘s popular soap opera, Texas. The 30â€"yearâ€"old actor was in town to help the Conestoga Mall Merchants Association launch their Send a Kid to Camp promotion. Money raised from the campaign will be used to send about 150 area children to a weekâ€"long camp this summer.
