You may be in'a recrea- tional rut without growing it. Waterloo has mos acres of park land but most people keep going back to Waterloo Park which is the largest. In I979 the City spent $251,000 to maintain its parks. The animal display in Wa- terloo Park was built in 1967 and the originial animals were donated by the Wa- terloo Lions Club as its Cen- tennial Project. It was hoped that City children would get a chance to see Canadian wildlife first hand. Some of the offspring of the original animals still reside in the park. Others were ac- quired from zoos and game farms. The variety of animals presently includes deer. rac- coon, black bear, porcupine, chickens, turkeys. wood ducks and rabbits The park Organizers say there is sure to be something for everyone in the list which includes amateur film pro- duction, auto care, bridge. canoeing, ceramics, guitar, dancing, yoga and many The Waterloo Family 'Y' will once again offer its adult special interest cour- ses this fall. _ Programs at the M W».- â€WSW†SI wags-rm ‘mmu 'Nqttrtt Pre-Register by phone-(519) 74477071 The NEW fud' , f way to TRIM an SHAPE that’s sweeping North Ameriu!
