It is a beautiful park and heaâ€" vily used. As the price of gaâ€" soline increases more peoâ€" ple will be coming to enjoy it than ever before, instead of driving several miles out to some other facility. Perhaps it is time to reâ€" evaluate the playground area. The equipment needs repairs and replacements. The low spots in the ground need filling in. In recent years there has been a trend many little feet. to creative playgrounds in this area. Most of the school groundi have a section deâ€" voted to a creative playâ€" ground. The parents asâ€" sociation of the school have raised funds to buy or make equipment and have often erected it themselves. The city has contributed $500 to each of these playgrounds. For several years we have had a Wildlife Advisory Committee who has done its job well and has already made improvements to the animal display and will be making more.
