The victory was especial- ly sweet for Cameron coach Penny Kawalecki and her crew, most who were around last year when they were bridesmaids to Kit- chener-Waterioo collegiate in the inaugural event. Many on hand at the well- attended tourney, including Kawalecki and tournament coordinator Marion Leach of WLU were surprised at the ease that Cameron dis- missed Saunders, generally regarded as the team to beat even though they fin- ished second in point totals in preliminary play to Ha- milton Bishop Ryan.
