Then we did our nosedive and before we knew it they led 30-15. But what was en- couraging about that game was that at one point in the second half we were down by as much as 20 yet only lost by 12. Other years the margin would have Just got bigger and bigger but the girls just wouldn’t quit." Perhaps because of their tenacity, Hawks are causing a situation that has Rodney smiling in more ways than one. "After the game in Wind- sor, (WLU forward) Karen (Danch) was talking to some of the Windsor players and they were actually aski- ng how we were doing against the other clubs in our league.
