The Vikings of head coach Ken Shields made their way to'the final of the classy eight-tearn event by beating Lakehead in the semis 99-83 while Acadia advanced with an 84-72 win over Manitoba. The tourney had its local flavor end on a sour note when University of Wa- terloo Warriors fell flat in the second half and lost the consolation final 70-54 to Carleton.
