He incorporated ballet (the Blue Fairy on Pointe) thea- trical gestures (Gepetto’s labored movements) and a number of variations. Costumes for the show were designed by Betty Jane Layton, and scenery was the work ot Isobel Fox. Pinocchio was a one-night production, but organizers hope the performance will be repeated around Christ- mas. As a finishing touch, each team of performers danced as they appeared for curtain call.
