S ~ Siskins did exactly that in taking a 1â€"0 lead midway through the second, but couldn‘t stand the prosperity and adopted a philosophy of letting the Cuillitons bring the play to them. In Festival City tonight Which, as most people know, is akin to slitting your throat. Dave Barrett appeared rather tentative in goal early in the game for Waterloo but when the going got tough he sparkled. making several outstanding saves. What killed Waterloo was that three of their five goals against came on second or third rebounds. One of the stories of the game was the play of Stratford goalie Rick Petrie, whose thievery demoralized several Sisâ€" kin snipers. o In the past three games against Petrie, Waterloo has pepâ€" pered him with 121 shots yet have only four goals to show for it. f Brill and Siskin coach Jack Egers talked before the game, deciding that the rough stuff is not the way to beat Stratâ€" ford. "He (Petrie) has come up big every time for them"‘ said Brill. "We‘ve certainly deserved a better fate than we‘ve received against Stratford this year. But Davey (Barrett) made some exceptional stops tonight too."" +‘We (Egers and Brill) figured that we‘d have to skate Notes: Saunders, Schnurr and Craig Frank scored in Friâ€" _ day‘s 7â€"3 opening game loss...Both teams started to run at each other and suffered in the sin bin department...Siskins _ are in a can‘t win situation with Frank.
