In Jeff's peewee and bantam seasons, Listowel captured the Ontario Minor Hockey Association titles and were finalists for the All-Ontario in Midget crown. As a 12 year old, Jeff was selected as the Most Valuable player on the pee- wee team, a duplication of "Nsss,sscss,,, ttt Westmount Tlace the honour he received while skating as an atom two years earlier. The pee- wee competition is undoub-~ tedly one of Jeff's fondest memories of his long hockey career. Besides capturing the OMHA title, the Lis- towel Peewees skated to the finals of the prestigious North American Silver Stick Tournament in Port Huron, Michigan. . Two goals last Friday in Waterloo's 8-3 win over He- speler vaulted Jeff into solo ownership of the team's top scoring spot. Last year as a member ’of the Listowel Midgets. Jeff notched 55 goals and assisted on 30 others in forty games.
