However, there are a number of contradictions regarding the misunderstanding. One source from the ministry of sport and fitness says that the error occarred when the site evaluation committee inspectâ€" ed the various sites in November. At that time the committee told the mayors of the various municipalities that the announcement of the games location would be made at the sport federation conference in January.
