Duck, goose, or turkey was on the menu most Christmas dinners in Mr. Lowe‘s home. _ "We had to stop at all the neighbors and have tea and cake around Christmas. It was bad luck not to stop and visit," he told the group of children. Mr. Lowe told the classâ€" and their teacherâ€"that his family shared friendship with their neighbors at Christmas time. much to do in those days, so we were a lot closer to our friends and neighbors.
