ath) Only This was the scene Saturday, as shoppers crowded Waterloo Square to do A Christmas poinsettia for Mom, maybe? some shopping during the last week before Christmas. Christmas shopping. It can be tedious for some people, a pleasure for_others. _ But no matter what you think about shopâ€" ping before Christmas, it‘s one of those things that‘s just got to be done. Some get an early start, and have gifts bought for the whole family before the first sprinkling of snow is even on the ground. Others leave it until the last few weeks, or worse, until the last few days before The Big Day rolls around Dec. 25. _That‘s when the crowds, the parking, pushing, jostling, and check out lines are at their peak. o Then, for others, it‘s just a matter of a litâ€" tle bit of last minute shopping, picking out that gift you just forgot about earlier, or getting some more wrapping paper, or ribâ€" bons or bows. Whatever, if you haven‘t got all your Christmas shopping done, you had better hop to it. â€" _ There‘s only three more shopping days left. Photos by Paul Marck
