Another busy week has started at Laurel Vocational School. Students have been working on test and projects as part of their first semester work. They have been view- ing many films in order to better appreciate the beauty of nature. All the gyms are pretty well booked up this week, if not with practices for intramurals and varsity teams, then for games. Last Friday was a busy day tor the Vikings with the Varsity football and junior soccer teams playing at home. The Viking fans showed their usual good support. Congratulations to Mr. P. Voison, coach of the junior soccer team and Tim Sitts. captain, for the excellent game played on Friday. The results are as follows: First game Laurel vs. Guelph - the score was 18-16 for Laurel with home runs by Bonnie Berg (2) and Joanne McKie (2), second game: Laurel vs Brantford - the score was 22-20 for Brantford with home runs by Bonnie Berg (3) Sue Dahmer (1) and Ginger Koth (2).
