Hampered by strong headâ€" winds and humid weather, Lobsinger clocked one minâ€" ute, 52.2 seconds to win the 800 metre. He clocked 2.1 seconds over his lifetime best. Under similar unfavourâ€" able conditions on Sunday, he won the 1500 metres in three minutes, 57.0 seconds which was 12 seconds over his best. These races conclude his 1977 season.
