The locale suitably lends itself to ideal canoeing and sailing as well as tripping. "‘Wabanaki is a coâ€"educaâ€" tional camp". Programme includes crafts, boating. drama, archery, hiking. special events, campfires, as well as those already mentioned. Leadership training is also a programme available to 14 yr. olds and over. LIT‘s are involved in everything from waterâ€" craft to counselling and nature lore to campcraft. Training prepares participant for future leadership roles. Girls train during the month of August and boys during July. Canoe trips and overnights are an exciting part of the summer.
