The North Waterloo Coun- ty String Orchestra will present its first annual spring concert March 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Brighton public school gymnasium. The program will feature solo performances by Mary Izumi, violin; Katherine Roos, violin; William Thompson, piano: and Gra- ham Watt, cello. It will be the first public performance of the 55-rnerpber junior or- chestra as well as the senior orchestra. The block parent pro- gram has finally been ap- proved for expansion into Waterloo. The next addi- tion will be in Lakeshore Village. It will include Cedarbrae and NA. Mac- Eachern public schools. and Sir Edgar Bauer separ- ate school. Lexington and Sandowne schools in Wa- terloo will also be new block parent areas. About 40 paintings by artists who are members of the K-W Society of Artists are on display at the Waterloo public library for the month of March.
