Winston Churchill school caretaker Tobias Bowman won‘t have to shovel any more snow this winter. Students at the school organized bake sales, an auction sale and a rummage sale last week to buy a snowblower for Mr. Bowman. The Kâ€"W University Womâ€" en‘s Club will hold their 13th Annual Book and Recâ€" ord Sale on April 1 and 2. Special to this year‘s sale will ‘be 2,000 records, . the private collection of Mr. John Hallman, who has kindly donated his records for the Club‘s sale. The sale will once again be held at Hilliard Hall, First United Church, King and William Streets, Waâ€" terloo, on Friday, April 1. noon to 10 p.m. and Saturâ€" day, April 2, 9 a.m. to noon. Proceeds from the sale have â€" annually â€" supported the Dr. B. Mabel Dunham Award, a book prize to the highest _ ranking _ female Grade XIII student in each of the local high schools.
