Over the past six years Waterloo Ringette has had a Rep team in the Petite (10 yrs. and under), Tween (11, 12, and 13 years), and Belle (14, 15 and 16 years) diviâ€" sions. These teams have played Ringette in several tournaments throughout Onâ€" tario and also in Winnipeg and have represented Waâ€" terloo in a most favorable manner, â€" winning â€" several championships <and sportsâ€" manship awards. This year a new division has been added. This is the Deb division for girls 17 to 19 years. The Waterloo Deb Rep team successfully competed in â€" their first tournament by winning the championship. Saturday, Feb. 12, the Saints travelled to Hesâ€" peler for their fifteenth win in Hub League. Toronto took a 2â€"0 lead in the first period on goals by Brad Stevens and Randy Weiler assisted by Robbie Kemple and Peter Bauer. The winning goal came with five minutes left in the game with a goal by David Duke assisted by Mike Ruppe. Dean Fielding and David Jensen shared the winning goal for Waterâ€" loo. Thursday, Feb. 10, the Waterioo Minor Hub League Saints hosted Stratâ€" ford and won 2â€"1. Waterloo opened the scoring at 5:37 in the first period with a goal by Scott Smith assistâ€" ed by Peter Bauer and Randy Weiler. At 6:27 in the second perâ€" i0d, Stratford came <back with a goal by Chris Parson to tie the score. With two minutes left in the game, Hespeler pulled its goalie to spoil Waterâ€" loo‘s _ shutâ€"out _ by _ the league‘s top scorer, Doug Pierce. With only 12 secâ€" onds remaining in the game, Waterloo held on for a 2â€"1 win. Both goalies sharâ€" ed in the win for Waterloo.
