By Don Dreisinger The Waterloo Schlueter Chev Midgets won their hockey _ league _ opener game against Kitchener 5â€"2 in a wild penaltyâ€"filled game. Waterloo picked up 15 miâ€" nor and two major penalâ€" ties. Kitchener received 19 minors and two majors. Terry Calder was the outâ€" standing player of the game for his powerful perforâ€" mance at all times on the ice. Terry always came up with the puck even when there were three Kitchener players around him. It was his best performance so far this season. His efforts netted him a goal. The Kitchener game was the team‘s first win in seven â€" exhibition â€" games. The Midgets also had one tie. During the Kitchener game.
