Laurel came a very close second to Brantford and a distant third to Guelph. Laurel holds dance contest The girls' volleyball team had their first league games Dec. 3 at Laurel. In the games with Brantford, Laurel's team won the first two games by a good margin. With the Guelph team. the girls won the first game and then lost the second in a score of 16- H. The play-off game saw Laurel defeated by Guelph 15-13.
