It was Scott Chard from Tim Karges and Barry Lougheed for Cambridge Preston to make it 2-1 for the Tim Horton Cubs. In Woodstock on Satur- day both teams went score- less in the first period. Then in the second period both teams scored for a 1-1 tie game. In the third period the Cubs scored two unanswered goals to give them the 3-1 win. Dave Pye opened the scoring in the game with an unassisted goal for Wood- stock. Holmes tied the game 1-1 with a goal for the Cubs from Nick Cipp. With 1:11 left in the game Cipp scored the winning goal for the Cubs from Mac- Millan and McKerrow. On Friday the Cubs play- ed host to Oakville and drew a 1-1 tie in the game. Then with 16 seconds left in the game McKerrow scored from Shayne Ackerl to give the Cubs the 3-1 wm.
